I had tympanoplasty(?) - skin graft on ear drum and get lots of wax. Is there a product around to remove wax?
Q. The specialist who did the operation wants to charge around AUD$265.00 to remove the wax. Is Waxsol etc OK, does anyone really, really know the answer, perhaps through experience. I am a bit nervous about sticking stuff into my repaired ear but also a lot peeved by the amount this Ferrari driving doctor wants to charge me.

A. You should use ear drops containing glycerin. Also search for some instruments with "ear wax remover".
